James McMullan and Son has over 100 years experience serving the local community in times of bereavement.

In the early part of the last century the late Andrew McMullan (sen.), a tailor by trade, started to undertake funerals in the Aghadowey district. In the 1960’s his son James purchased McAteers of Ballymoney and the business was transferred to its present location in High Street in Ballymoney. In the 1980’s, Andrew, the third generation joined the firm.

Andrew is a qualified Funeral Director holding the Diploma in Funeral Directing, Diploma in Funeral Service Management and is a member of the British Institute of Embalmers.

During 2005 an additional branch was added when the business of John. A Moore & Co of Kilrea was acquired.

	The National Association of Funeral Directors has been helping Funeral Directors care for the bereaved since 1905 and is the longest established trade association within the profession.
	The comforting knowledge that your loved ones are being cared for by professionals who are qualified members of the British Institute of Embalmers.
	Membership in Selected Independent Funeral Homes is by invitation only, and is extended to funeral homes only after a thorough evaluation of their reputation, character, service and professionalism.
